Mushrooms – Autumn is the time of year to spot many of the dazzling array of fungi that are all over the countryside right now. Coloured Leaves – Something that is most associated with autumn are the colours of the leaves in the woodlands. They are beautiful to look at and to walk through. You can also collect them to make a wreath, so that you have a little bit of the autumn woodland in your home.

Nuts and Berries – Nature’s bounty is fully on display in the autumn and many animals and birds are foraging frantically for their winter stash! Look out for birds like the Jay, who are so fond of acorns, as well as smaller birds and squirrels foraging around the trees and bushes.
